Automotive Dealership Controller
Position Summary:
· Direct and oversee Finance & Accounting functions, including floor plan/treasury, AR, AP, payroll, and office administration.
· Manage and develop a team of accounting staff.
· Conduct month-end close, enforce deliverables, capture journal entries, reconcile accounts, and review bank reconciliations.
· Prepare and review financial statements, analyze variances, and provide business insight commentary.
· Build strong relationships with business unit managers to support decision-making with financial information.
· Collaborate with managers to optimize financial systems, reporting, processes, automation, and costs.
Qualifications & Experience:
· CPA with minimum of 10+ years’ experience as automotive dealership Controller.
· Demonstrated management and leadership experience is required.
· Strong Excel and PBS systems experience is required. Business analytics / intelligence and Clarity Payroll is preferred.
· Payroll knowledge and management is required.
· Experience in implementing process improvements is required
